Bong Bantilan likes to think of himself as part connoisseur and part unlikely entrepreneur. A registered physical therapist by profession, Bong is a visionary with an inborn passion for arts and world cultures. As a young professional, Bong sidelined doing interior designs. His ecclectic taste and stylistic diversity has earned him the respect and loyalty of his clients. On top of his interior design work, Bong is also a culinary expert whose mouthwatering recipes have been admired by many including well-known Philippines personalities.

Like most producers and directors, there's nothing more fulfilling to Bong than working on something that helps others. For Bong, to be able to help aspiring qualified young people realize their dreams is already a huge reward in itself.

A visionary as he is, Bong conceptualized the idea of having Mr. Cebu. It all started after watching Miss Cebu 2008 with his friends. The idea simply popped up into his mind; “if there’s Miss Cebu” why not have Mr. Cebu. The rest is history as they say.
